How do you get the Diablo 4 Ring of the Midnight Sun? Those trying their hands at the feral Spiritborn in the Vessel of Hatred DLC have a suite of new exclusive armor and weapons to find. The Ring of the Midnight Sun is one such item to add to your arsenal.
Refunding a portion of recently spent Vigor after a critical hit, the Diablo 4 Ring of the Midnight Sun is a powerful boost to your Diablo 4 Spiritborn build. The Spiritborn is already one of the best Diablo 4 classes, but you can’t ever be too strong against demons, can you?
How to get the D4 Ring of the Midnight Sun
The Ring of the Midnight Sun drops from the Diablo 4 boss Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint on any Torment difficulty. However, it also has a chance to drop from enemies, chests, and Helltide events, as well as through the Purveyor of Curiosities, but these are less precise methods.
Grigoire is located inside the Hall of the Penitent in Dindai Flats, and can only be fought on Torment difficulties. To summon Grigoire, you will need Living Steel. Thankfully, Grigoire isn’t too hard to beat given he mostly attacks directly ahead, making flanking a safer option.

If you get bored of farming Grigoire, then you can try your chances elsewhere, as the Ring of the Midnight Sun can drop from any enemy or chest, as well as Helltide events. Remember though, the loot pool is much larger from these sources so it’s a less efficient method.
Likewise, the Ring of the Midnight Sun is also available at the Purveyor of Curiosities in Sanctuary. If you’ve got Murmuring Obols to spend then it’s a great way to narrow down your search.
There are tons of great new gear pieces to grind in the RPG game’s stellar expansion, especially for Spiritborn players. Check out the best Diablo 4 builds to see how they’ve changed, and give the Diablo 4 difficulty levels a look if you’re yet to try the challenging – but rewarding – Torment tiers.
