What are the BO6 Zombies easter eggs? Over the years, it’s become less of a secret that Call of Duty’s Zombies mode has hidden puzzles and quests. These easter eggs can do anything from uncovering fun secrets, like musical tracks, to unlocking some of the games most powerful weaponry.
In the latest Black Ops Zombies adventure, you can discover a metal soundtrack, turn yourself into a superhero, and even craft certain Black Ops 6 Wonder Weapons, well known to be among the best available in the zombie game. You can always look for these Black Ops 6 secrets yourself, but if you’d rather someone else did the hard work for you, well, you’re welcome.
Here are the Black Ops 6 Zombies easter eggs we know about so far:

The main quests are quite lengthy, so if you’re stuck and are looking for a full walkthrough, give our Citadelle des Morts main quest guide a read. If you want to try for yourself first, here’s a brief walkthrough. Be warned, this is the longest and most complex Zombies main quest to date.
- Enter the castle
- Defeat the basement Doppelghast and activate the Pack-A-Punch machine
- Speak to Krafft
- Collect Page Fragments from the sitting room
- Collect Ritual Items from around the map
- Collect wax seal stamps from special zombies
- Activate each of the Bastard Swords
- Complete Item Rituals and collect Incantations
- Repair the book and complete the puzzle
- Complete Incantations
- Charge Mystic Orbs
- Trigger and survive the final encounter
Upon completing this easter egg for the first time, you’ll receive a new skin for Weaver and a special calling card. Complete the quest before Directed mode is released for Citadelle, and you’ll receive an exclusive, limited edition calling card.
Citadelle des Morts easter egg song
As with each of the maps below, the Citadelle des Morts easter egg song can be triggered by interacting with three music players.
To trigger the Citadelle des Morts easter egg song, find and interact with headphones in the following locations:
- A small, round table in the tavern
- Next to the eastern gate into the castle courtyard
- On the couch in the Undercroft
You can’t see the headset in the latter location, but if you interact with the bag next to a zombie corpse, you’ll hear the unmistakable sound of Mister Peeks giggling. Upon completion, Slave by Kevin Sherwood featuring Vicky Psarakis plays through for the next few minutes.
Citadelle des Morts Knight chess piece easter egg
The godmode equivalent to the Aetherella statue or the Mega-Stuffy in the previous maps, the chess piece Citadelle des Morts easter egg is actually far easier to complete by comparison.
You can find the chess piece in one of the following locations:
- Tavern cellar shelves
- In a small table in the room on the village ramparts, opposite the Elemental Pop machine
- A table in the dungeon
- A table in the upstairs Dining Room Passage
Next, drop the chess piece onto the board in the Sitting Room and survive three waves of normal zombies while killing zombies inside the purple zone that appears. You’ll know they’re inside when their eyes turn purple. You don’t have to be inside the circle, but they do when they’re killed. Note that this is timed, so it’s best to trigger it at the start of a normal round to ensure you have enough zombies to kill. Once complete, the Knight Guardian automatically appears, killing zombies for you for a short while.
Citadelle des Morts bartending easter egg
In the bartending minigame, your role is to serve rum and gin to your undead patrons. This is a great easter egg to participate in as it rewards you with a lot of bonus Essence, as well as a free PHD Flopper Perk-A-Cola.
First, collect a liquor bottle from each of the following three locations:
- The small shelving unit in the Sitting Room next to the couch
- Under the table next to the charred corpse on the couch in the Undercroft
- On the table next to the charred corpse on the couch in the Dining Room
Once you have all three bottles, head to the tavern, where a tray has now appeared at the end of the bar. Interact with this tray at the start of a normal round, and your bartending adventure will begin.
Simply serve the right colored drink to each zombie by interacting with the bottle then with the zombie, and each rewards you with 100 Essence. Continue until the event ends, and you’ll automatically receive the PHD Flopper, and even more Essence drops on the ground. Zombies won’t attack you during this minigame, but they immediately turn hostile again once you refuse to serve them. Normal Saturday night service, then.
Terminus main quest
As with the other Zombies mas, there is a full-blown questline in Terminus. We have a full Terminus main quest guide to guide you through it if you want, but if you’d like to try for yourself first, though, the steps to complete the Terminus main quest easter egg in BO6 are:
- Craft the Beamsmasher
- Obtain the hard drive and hand it over to Peck
- Obtain the codes for Nathan’s containment unit
- Defeat Nathan and obtain the key card
- Fix the network connection
- Hack the buoys
- Defuse the bombs
- Defeat the Terminus boss, Patient 13
Complete the full Terminus main quest easter egg to earn a new skin for main character Maya and the Terminus Quest Complete calling card, as well as some bonus XP.
Terminus easter egg song
Each BO6 Zombies map has a secret song you can play, provided you find and interact with three sets of headphones around the map.
To trigger the Terminus easter egg song, interact with headphones in the following locations:
- On top of the large wire coil in the outside section of Engineering.
- On top of the barrels on the right as you enter the Mining Tunnels.
- In the office in the Bio Lab.
If you’re still struggling to find them, we have a full guide to the BO6 Zombies Terminus easter egg song with images to make things easier. Once you interact with all three sets of headphones, the Terminus easter egg song will play: Can You Hear Me? by Kevin Sherwood featuring Megan Rice.
Terminus Mega-Stuffy easter egg
In the massive Terminus Zombies map, there is an incredibly OP easter egg hiding away, looking very unassertive. If you’ve had your eyes fully open in the industrial map, you may have spotted a few little stuffed toys, but you might not know that collecting these grants you a powerful ally that revives you and your teammates.
To craft this incredible Mega-Stuffy, you must interact with all six stuffed toys around the map, then go back to where they are now sitting on their beds in the Living Quarters. We’ve got a full guide to the Terminus Mega-Stuffy easter egg if you need it, but we’ve also got the stuffy locations below:
- A locker next to the Stamin-Up machine
- On the bridge between Engineering and the Sea Tower
- In the Mining Tunnels
- Near the Bio Lab medical unit
- On the Shipwreck
- Crab Island
Terminus boat race easter egg
For something more fun than powerful or narrative, you can trigger the secret boat race easter egg in the Terminus map. To do this, find and interact with a toy boat with its lights flashing. There are three boats across the map, but only one of them will be flashing. We’ve got a full guide to the Terminus boat race easter egg and all the toy boat locations, but if you don’t need that, they’re:
- Off the north-western coast of Temple Island
- Off the east coast of Castle Rock Island
- To the south-east of Crab Island
Liberty Falls main quest
When you first step into the Liberty Falls Zombies map, you might not even realize that there is a full main story quest to complete. If you’re new to Zombies quests, we have a full walkthrough of the Liberty Falls main quest. If you’re just looking for a nudge in the right direction, on the other hand, the steps to complete the Liberty Falls main quest easter egg in Black Ops 6 are:
- Craft the Jet Gun
- Investigate the church and interact with the SDG generator
- Pack-A-Punch
- Use the Jet Gun to obtain components to craft the LTG
- Craft the LTG
- Charge Dark Aether Canisters and activate projectors
- Trigger and survive the Final Encounter
Upon completing the Liberty Falls main quest, you’ll receive up to three great rewards: 5,000 XP, a special skin for the Ray Gun Wonder Weapon, and an exclusive Calling Card. Unfortunately, the latter is exclusive to those who complete the quest before the Directed mode was added.
Liberty Falls easter egg song
Among the smaller secrets are the returning Black Ops music easter eggs. In BO6, this comes in the form of locating and interacting with three sets of headphones around the map.
In Liberty Falls, you can find these headphones:
- Outside the bowling alley, across from the crafting bench.
- Under the bench at the top of the stairs between Olly’s Comics and Washington Avenue.
- On the church bench on your left-hand side as you walk in through the front.
If you still can’t find them, check out the images in our full Liberty Falls easter egg song guide. Once you have located them, interact with all three sets of headphones and a track will play for a few minutes. Sadly, you cannot interact with the headphones more than once per match. The Liberty Falls track, Destroy Something Beautiful, features Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil fame.
Liberty Falls Aetherella easter egg
To complete the Aetherella Godmode easter egg and turn yourself into the laser-blasting Aetherella statue, you must collect mini-statues of the superhero from hidden locations around the match using the Thrustodyne Wonder Weapon. We have a full guide on the Aetherella statue locations if you’re struggling to find them, but, in short, the Aetherella statues are in the following locations:
- Motor Lodge ‘Motel’ sign
- Beneath the Liberty Lanes sign (when stood on the bus)
- Church window
- Upstairs Flower Shop window (when stood on the Last Call roof)
- The roof of Fast Forward (when stood on the Yummy Freeze roof)
- Inside the side door to Olly’s Comics
- Aetherella display shelf
- Olly’s Comics windowsill
- On a box shelf in Olly’s Comics
Suck each of these statues into the Thrustodyne, and, upon gathering the ninth, you’ll instantly transform into the Aetherella statue, making you resilient to zombie attack and able to destroy them in seconds with your laser beam eyes.
Liberty Falls bowling alley easter egg
If you’ve ever wandered through the Liberty Lanes bowling alley and wished you could just ignore the apocalypse and play a few rounds, then the Liberty Lanes easter egg was made for you. Find and shoot five pairs of bowling shoes across the Liberty Falls map, and you’ll be transported – briefly – to a place of joy, as zombies dance around you and you chuck a ball or two down the lanes. These are all the Liberty Falls bowling shoe locations:
- Inside the Pump and Pay gas station
- On a shelf in Frank’s Hardware on Riverside
- Under the armchair in the white house on Hill Street
- Beyond the fence at the back of the cemetery
- On the casket inside Benson’s Burial Services, opposite Liberty Lanes
And that’s how to trigger the Black Ops 6 Zombies easter eggs we know about so far. If you need some help surviving the hordes in the multiplayer game, make sure your Black Ops 6 loadouts are kitted out with the best BO6 Zombies Gobblegums, Perk-A-Colas, and Black Ops 6 Augments to help get you through these challenges.
